World Diabetes Month (and Day)

November is Diabetes Awareness Month, and the forteenth is World Diabetes Day, the day when everyone will test their blood suger and then get active and then test again and then go to http://bigbluetest.org/
and share how their numbers change while they played.

For every person that watches that video Roche will donate money to save a kids life by giving them money to buy insulin. That's why this test is important to me

Today was my 11th birthday, and my Dad took me shooting at Bulls-Eye shooting range in downtown Lawrenceville. I shot with a 38 AUTO. Soooo this is me shooting my silhouette.

Afterwards Dad took me to Brusters and they gave me the bigest ice cream cone that they had ever made.

Tubin' the Chattahoochee

Yesterday I went tubing in Helen, GA down the Chattahoochee river with my home school group.

It was really fun but it was a hour and a half to get up there.

We all took a pink bus to get to the drop off point.

We floated in the tubes for about two to three hours.

My friends J, Geshtro and I were hooked together in a triangle.

IT WAS AWESOME!

The Olympics.

I’ve decided to do a blog on the 2010 Winter Olympics.
My favorite athletes are Apolo Ohno, Julia Mancuso, Lindsey Vonn, Seth Wescot, Shani Davis, Shaun White, and Hannah Teter.
I like Apolo because he always pulls out in front.
I like Lindsey and Julia because they are really good downhill skiers.
I like Seth Wescot because he is a really good downhill snowboarder.
I like Shani Davies because he’s a really good speed skater.
I like Shaun White because he is a really good half piper and he invented a lot of cool tricks.
I like Hannah Teter because she is a really good half piper.
And I like all of those Americans because they are Americans and they are my favorites.

Kid pix.

Miss S came over yesterday and took some pictures of Thunder Bear, Booboo Bear, and me. We had a fun time with Miss S and she took some funny pictures and some cool ones too. The previous day was park day but it was too wet to go to the park, so Homeschool group came to my house. Miss S brought her photography equipment on park day in her van so she wouldn’t have to in her car.

On picture day we all helped to set up a big white sheet. First up was Booboo Bear, then it was Thunder Bear. I had a hard time keeping Booboo Bear out of the pix zone. Then it was my turn and Thunder Bear had a hard time with Booboo Bear. She took over 500 pix and downloaded them on to my mom’s laptop by using thumb drive , Then she went home.

The Super Super Bowl

I’ve seen other Super Bowls before but XLIV (44) was “who dat” (awesome). How the Saints pulled it off was “who dat”, too. The game changer was a Saints interception and 40 yard run leading to a touch down; it was awesome, too. I was going for the Saints.

My Dads friend Miss. Mary’s prediction was 31 Saints vs. 27 Colts; very close. It was 31 Saints vs. 17 Colts.

When The Who was singing at half-time, our good friend Mimi came over to say hi. My favorite song from The Who was "Who Are You", and dad and I were singing “who are you who who who who.” And the light show was very cool.

I made a lot of Saint signs and took my packers helmet and taped a Saints symbol on it.

My Packers helmet with Saint's symbol, Fleur de lis.

First Down poster with a hand on it

Four sheets of paper taped together with
"who dat" and "o-fence"

"D-fence" with fleur de lis as plus

If you like football as much as I do then you should watch it.
